I had the pleasure of planning a friend’s bridal shower several weeks ago. Her bridesmaids hosted the strawberry and chocolate martini themed shower. It was a small intimate affair held in a bridesmaid’s home with close family and friends attending. Our Bake Shoppe made the cake. Inspired by Martha Stewart I wrapped ribbon around the tea lights and vases. Then to personalize them I added pearls monograms. Ryan & Lauren from 2355 productions did a wonderful job capturing the event.

Even though this idea has been out for a while and replaced the custom cake table, I love dessert tables. There is so much you can do with them by being creative and coordinating colors and themes. It is also a nice way to incorporate favors so that guests can take home treats of their choice. Amy Atlas Events is well known for her dessert tables and I have attached her website. Enjoy!
